CXC withhold over 600 Jamaican student results [MUST READ]

The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) has revoked the grades for 600  students who sat the exam for downloading S.B.A online.

The decision was made after CXC officials weighed and measured reports of irregularities with the school-based assessments (SBA) for CXC submitted from around the island for a high resemblance.

Didacus Jules, chief executive officer of CXC, pointed out that a probe is on the way, until then the results wont be available until the checks are completed.

In further explaining the council’s decision to disqualify the students, Jules also highlighted “unethical and unprofessional conduct” on the part of teaching staff.
